Drew C. Brieman
Drew Brieman divides his time between Chicago and London. Mr. Brieman has been engaged in projects for strategic planning, treasury, business valuation, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions across industries such as financial services, oil & gas, aerospace & defense, agricultural, manufacturing and educational services. Mr. Brieman has worked on projects spanning North America, Latin America, and Europe. Significant project experience includes mergers and acquisitions screening and strategic planning to enhance corporate development capabilities for a $3 billion oil & gas contractor; developing a forecasting model used to evaluate alternative corporate growth initiatives as part of a long-range planning system for a $4 billion manufacturing company; designed an economic forecasting model used to analyze capital structure alternatives and acquisition screening for a $9 billion defense contractor; created a treasury and corporate planning model used to analyze hedging strategies for a $40 billion foreign currency exchange corporation; constructed a platform to analyze strategic planning, hedging strategies, currency exposure, business valuation, and mergers and acquisitions for a $4 billion agricultural corporation. In addition, Mr. Brieman has worked with Business Transformation Partners to advise clients on best practices for financial modeling, integration and reporting when moving toward an IPO. Mr. Brieman has also been an active member of a transformation team advising clients on corporate re-organization projects for manufacturing and defense contracting corporations.
Mr. Brieman’s previous experience included a position with AccuVal Advisors, a leading valuation, advisory and asset management services company. While working within the tangible assets group, Mr. Brieman managed cross-functional teams responsible for tangible asset valuations of Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Brieman has also advised financial lending institutions on matters relating to the liquidation procedures and asset management. Mr. Brieman graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Real Estate Finance and Risk Management.
