Douglas Good
Mr. Good has numerous years of investment banking and transaction execution experience in the middle market. Prior to joining Davis Capital, Mr. Good worked at McGladrey Capital Markets, the investment banking unit of RSM McGladrey, a leading international audit and accounting firm. At McGladrey, Mr. Good was a founding member of the firm's Food and Beverage group, which focused on M&A and corporate finance advisory in the retail, consumer, and manufacturing sectors of the food and beverage industry. Additionally, he successfully closed transactions across various industries, including manufacturing, business services and e-commerce. Other responsibilities at McGladrey included reviewing valuations done by the company’s Professional Services Group and presenting valuation deliverables to the client.
Mr. Good has applied the knowledge and experience gained at McGladrey & Pullen to develop a unique practice group at Davis Capital which offers both national and regional accounting firms access to investment banking services for their accounting clients. Mr. Good has also continued his successful food and beverage practice and currently oversees the Food and Beverage practice at Davis Capital, as well as executing on other transactions in a variety of industries for his long-standing client relationships.
Prior to McGladrey, Mr. Good was an Associate at Clayton Capital Partners, a middle market investment banking firm based in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Good began his career as an Analyst in the Global Investor Services group at State Street Corporation in Boston, MA.
Mr. Good has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with honors and Beta Gamma Sigma, and a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois. In addition, Mr. Good completed graduate level courses at the London School of Economics and received the Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor certificate from the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors.
