Scott J. Song
Scott Song is based out of the Chicago office. Mr. Song has been engaged in strategic planning and corporate development projects across industries including financial services, oil, real estate and government agencies. Significant project experience includes consulting and development of models used to analyze potential buyouts and maintain current deals for a leading financial services firm with $52 billion in market capitalization; asset-based lending models utilized in underwriting and managing syndicated and sole lender transactions at a major international bank with $1.2 trillion in assets; mergers and acquisitions target screening and strategic planning for an $80 billion oil and gas company; designed a corporate finance model used to consolidate and forecast real estate asset portfolios for a $9 billion real estate management company; and built a strategic planning and acquisition model for a $3.6 billion real estate development and management firm.
Previously, Mr. Song worked as an investment analyst tracking performance metrics across thousands of account portfolios at Morningstar, an international investment research firm. Mr. Song also worked as a financial analyst at Kraft Foods, one of the world’s leading consumer products firms performing cost account procedures and budgeting / forecasting. Mr. Song graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana / Champaign, IL with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
